Thank you for your interest in Alderwood PTA!
The PTA supports Alderwood families, students and staff in many ways. We provide classroom and school supplies, host fun and enriching events, organize staff appreciation activities, and provide volunteer support for the school.
Past events have included the Dolphin Dash, school dance, science fair, book fair, field day, talent show and a school wide potluck and BBQ.
Meetings: PTA meetings are held from 6:30-7:30 PM in the school library. Childcare is provided by the YMCA. Everyone is welcome to attend PTA meetings, whether or not you are a member.
Email List: Our emails include PTA meeting notifications, volunteer opportunities, and voting decisions for PTA members only.
Membership: When you become a member of the Alderwood PTA, you are also joining the Washington State PTA. Membership lasts 1 school year. WSPTA requires each local PTA to have at least 25 members to remain in good standing. There are no required volunteer hours or other commitments when you join. We’d love to have you as a member!
Membership Fee: The cost to become a member is $12 (via check payable to Alderwood PTA or pay online here); however, we are offering to pay membership fees with PTA funds if you would like. Please email us.
