Thank you for your interest in Alderwood PTA! 

The PTA supports our Alderwood families, school staff, teachers, and community by providing supplies, hosting events (past events include the Dolphin Dash, science fair, school dance, movie night, talent show, and others), staff appreciation activities, and more.

Meetings: PTA meetings are held from 6:30-7:30 PM in the school library.  Childcare provided by the YMCA. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, whether or not they are members.

2025-26 Meeting Dates: Monday October 20th

Email List:  Emails we send include meeting notifications, volunteer opportunities, and voting opportunities (for members only).

Membership: Becoming a member means you will be joining the Washington State PTA; info is here WSPTA Membership.  Membership lasts 1 school year.  It is a state requirement that our PTA have at least 25 members in order to be in good standing.  There's nothing you're required to do if you join. 

You will receive emails from WSPTA ("Membership News") but that's about it.  And you will be on Alderwood PTA's email list for voting-related items (voting on how to spend money, what events to have, etc.).

Membership Fee: The cost to become a member is $12 (via check payable to Alderwood PTA or pay online here); however, we are offering to pay membership fees with PTA funds if you would like. Please email us.

We are looking forward to another great school year.  And, if you know of anyone else in the community who might be interested, please have them join our volunteer list!  We can use as many helping hands as possible!
